Wordless instruction is a key skill an individual needs to develop in graphic design. The instruction set below is for making oats. The brief at the time was to create a set of instructions for making oats using the least amount of type possible.

My solution used a simple grid pulled that stylistically modeled after the type of drawn instructions a person might see when assembling pre-fabricated furniture. Simple icons to indicate the different tools and actions necessary to complete the recipe and a high-contrast delivery method.
